Platform Fokus is a communication platform for residents that has been running a successful pilot since last year. Currently, some 279 residents from the villages of Tjuchem and Steendam are participating. These villages have joined forces and taken the initiative to develop a reinforcement approach. Platform Fokus is part of this approach and gives the residents their own control over their documentation of quake damage. Of course we have secured the platform well, because sensitive information is stored there,' explains Kasper Hovius, CEO of Platform Fokus.
The residents manage the documentation themselves and therefore also decide who they share it with. The platform has a timeline so that, as a user, you can keep track of when you submitted certain documents to an authority and when you received feedback. You can also share this information with another company or body if you wish.
